BioBeasts Official Announcement!

What is BioBeasts?

BioBeasts is a free, single-player arcade-survival game for mobile devices where you control a mutating beast, fighting to escape from a robot-controlled laboratory. It's the newest game in development at Artix Entertainment, designed primarily by the EpicDuel team.
BioBeasts Escape Mutate Destroy

You will control a variety of beasts as they try to escape from a lab run by the sadistic Alydriah. Defend yourself against a horde of robot guards, laboratory defenses, and hulking bosses as you claw, bite, blast, and bash your way to freedom! Unlock new beasts with special powers and obtain potent mutations to experiment with as the game progresses.

For now, here's some early looks at some stuff we've done so far. Everything is still SUPER work-in-progress so all is subject to change, but don't worry -- we're not going to turn it into a military shooter or anything. I'm pretty sure. We might have grenades, though. Rabblefroth likes explodey things.

First, here's our prototype in motion:

Next we'd like to show off some of the extremely high-tech elements involved in our planning process. Take special note of the Dynamic Markdown Tablets (dry erase whiteboards) and Mounted Action Squares (sticky notes). And windows! Fancy.
Our lab is curved and strange. OooOooOO! ...Actually it's just the panorama playing tricks. Still, OooOooOOooo!

Here's an early look at concepts for different beasts you may be able to play as. Some should look very familiar to EpicDuel players.
Latest version of Windows looks great

The team has been busy sketching tons of concepts for Beasts. Be sure to share what Beasts you would like to see in the comments below!

And finally, some bonus elemental concepts from Charfade.

If you have any questions, check our FAQ, maybe we answered it already! If you have other questions or we didn't cover something as much as you'd like, let us know in that post. We'll have a follow-up to cover those questions coming on Friday (April 17).

Otherwise, let us know your thoughts below! Keep in mind we'll be talking about more specifics of the game (at least the stuff we have so far) in future posts. You can also follow our announcements on Twitter @BioBeasts, or on Facebook & Google+.
